Welcome Home Kody Lee Neumann

Kody Lee Neumann was born on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at 4:09 am!  He was scheduled to be induced starting at 6 am that day.  I did not want to have any type of induction and praise God no induction was needed.  I called the acupuncturist in town and asked about pressure points that I could use to naturally induce Kody.  According to my calculations, he was 40 weeks and a few days, but according to the ultrasound he would've been 42 weeks on Sunday, his birthday.  Hospital policy is that at 42 weeks the pregnancy then becomes high risk and I would be transferred from the midwives to the doctor on call.  I didn't really want to be birthed by a doctor, so thankfully the pressure points worked!  Praise God!

Kody was 8 pounds 2 ounces and 21 1/2 inches long.  Here he is!
