Turning 40 and more

In February I turned 40 years old!  Todd surprised me with a great party, great cake, and great food.  It was a fun day.  I was able to play tennis that morning and then when I got home I noticed that there were some extra cars around the house.  So I walked into a surprise party.  MaKenna was busy helping her daddy decorate the house and then she had to get everyone drinks.  Colt was feeling sick that day, which was a bummers.  Kody probably was the biggest helper, haha.  At 2 months old he didn't do too much of the leg work.  Zane helped go get the food with his Dad and kept his mouth quiet, which is so hard for him to do.  He loves to tell everyone everything, a gift he gets from his momma.  Here are some photos of the celebration.

MaKenna, the hostess with the most-est!

I should look surprised, I had no idea!
Beautiful cake!  And delicious too!  This was the first year I was able to play in the Senior League for tennis too.  Women's 40 and over!  Just met the cutoff age this year!  The hockey stick is for Todd and the tennis racket is mine.  Todd and I met at the same tennis courts that I was able to play on the morning of my birthday.  The tennis balls were delicious!  I like how the cake says, "40-Love" and on my side of the cake even!  I like to win!  Todd's side says, "What a backhand".  That is my favorite shot to make.
The decorations are still up around the house.  The kids are slowly pulling some down.  I really enjoyed the flower bouquets too.  Roses for Valentine's Day, with 4 white roses for my 4 wonderful children.  And tennis balls in my birthday bouquet.

 MaKenna, party girl extraordinaire!

Mommy and MaKenna!  One last picture of the pretty cake and then time to eat!
The boys!  Kody and Colt.
