2012 Buddy Walk

We had a successful third annual Buddy Walk for the SouthEast Idaho Down Syndrome Support Group.  It was so much fun!  The amount of volunteers was breathtaking!  The volunteer coordinators recommended that the volunteers wear last year's green event shirts so they stand out from the crowd of this year's events yellow shirts.  Wow, they stood out all right!  It was so great to see so many happy faces cheering our families on and helping out with so much.  This year was such a success and such a fun time for all of the parents involved.  The volunteers really put in a lot of work.  I am so thankful to each of them and so glad that God provided a beautiful weather day and so many resources!

Next year we are planning to have a 5K run associated with the Buddy Walk.  It will help to raise awareness for our group in the community of health minded runners out there.  Plus help raise some funds for the Reese's Rainbow orphans (www.reesesrainbow.org).

Here are some awesome photos of the walk.
