New Baby on the way!
We just told our moms on Mother's Day that they will be grandmas again! We sent 50+ photos to them of the kids and then hid this photo of Colt in the middle. On the back of this photo I wrote, "Baby November #2. Due date November 27, 2012". MaKenna was the first November Baby, her birthday is on November 21. My mom's birthday is on the 19th and my dad's birthday is on the 24th. Our third neice's birthday is on the 16th. So we have a lot of dates in there. I was hoping for a December baby, but you never know! It would be symmetric for our family, Todd in January, me in February, Zane 3 months later in May, Colt 3 months later in August, and MaKenna 3 months later in November. So a December baby would give us the bookends on the last two months of the year like Todd and I are the bookends on the first of the year. Too analyical, I agree! So now we will have an asymmetric family! Haha.
This pregnancy has been very tiring. I am past wanting a December baby and now want just a single baby! Twins would be interesting, but very tiring.
MaKenna is excited to have a baby for her birthday. I asked her what she is going to get for her birthday. She told me a present. Then I asked her what would be in the present, and she said, "A baby!" When I ask her if she wants a brother or a sister, she says, "Sister.". When I ask her if she wants a sister or a brother, she says, "Brother.". I hope that doesn't mean she wants one of each!
Todd's mom told me that she gave away some of her baby items, like a pack n play. She said whenever you give away something, usually a baby comes along. So I told her that this is all her fault! Todd's parents didn't think we were going to have more children. Todd tells them that he wants 12. Todd's mom made sure that Todd didn't tell me that! Hahaha. My dad wanted to make sure that our car could handle twins in case that happens. I told him that I was not worried about the car handling the kids, I am worried about me handling it! Todd use to say that he wanted four kids. I didn't say any number at first, I would just say, "He wants four kids." Then I started saying, "We want four kids." Then Todd asked about 5. I decided to start saying that He wanted four kids again! I wasn't about to see how high that would discussion would go!

This is so true. Two weeks after I tried to give away Kaylee's crib and some other big items, we discovered we were pregnant. I was so glad the lady did not take them (not that Paul uses the crib!). Also, Frank wanted to stop at one, we have two. So if Todd wanted 4, then........ hahahaha. Praying for a safe pregnancy and healthy baby.
